Not sure if i'm in the right forum, but here is my delima.

Looking for advice on a video / print project. The project is essentially a photo booth for kids. They will see themselves onscreen, line up their face and the system will count down to take a still photo. Once the image is taken, they have the choice to either print it as is (with the project logo), or upgrade and have their picture put on a magazine cover, certificate, or have the image "morphed". By morphed, I mean a filter applied that perhaps twists their image, or colorizes it, etc., something fun like that. We then need the image saved to the system hard drive and queued up for printing. I have no idea what components to use to have our software sytem apply these overlays or filters. Any ideas? We will be programming in VB or other .net language.

Thanks

Tim Burke
