What are these new icons at the bottom of each posting in the forums? Advertising? Or affiliates to DC? They don't give much clue when you click on them  |

Good question!
Each of these is a peer reviewing system of one style or another, where members can recommend items of interest to the rest of the community.
Quite a few blogs and other sites are adding these links to their articles to lower the effort necessary to post the recommendation of an item.
I'm not sure we have the presentation of these options quite right yet. But if you do see an item at DC you think could be worthy of broader attention, you can click on one or more of those links to add it to the correspnding peer site.
In the long run, that should help build the vitality of this design community, for the good of all of us. |
