Some wood laminate floor separated after installation. There are 3 possible reasons for the separation.

1. The locking system doesn’t work well. The boards will separate if the locking system is too loose or broken.

2. If normal tongue & groove is used at the joint, glue should be used at the joint. There will be gap after some time of installation if the quality of glue is bad or can’t work well.

3. There should be some accessory such as T-moulding to separate wood laminate floor if its area is over 8m*10m as the boards need spare space to shrink when temperature is lower.
