Here's another industry that's been into multi-monitors for sometime.

Along this multi-monitor stuff ------ I would guess it to be back in the early 90's, I designed a room with a wall of monitors and theatre seating for some corporation, that was to be used by the big wigs. I told the CEO that you wouldn't be able to see what's on the monitors from anything other than maybe the front row of seats. But that's what he wanted -- a bunch of individual monitors.

I wanted to put in an overhead projector with a screen and let him have a virtual set-up ---- windows configured however one would please on this big screen, with the resolution set so as you could actually see something. He didn't buy into the idea.

Oh well. At least the theatre seating turned out decent.
