hey all does anyone have any useful info about designing banks or banking themes or even interesting case studies? i need something to break the dullness of a bank design.. anything!!!

A good place to start for most any kind of building types question is a search at GreatBuildings.com and ArchitectureWeek.
And you can run those searches, either specificially within the Great Buildings Online, or as a free text search across all of GreatBuildings.com and ArchitectureWeek, using the Search link at the bottom right of this page.
I know there are several banks from across history in Great Buildings, and contemporary examples in ArchWeek.

thanks kevin for your reply but i ran several searches and came up with a few banks but they're huge for the most part.. mainly high rise, i need ideas for a small branch can't think of anything for starting the conceptual approach.. i know i want the concept related to bank scenarios and one-to-one interactions between employees and clients.. how can i integrate this with the image of the branch starting from the interior not the exterior .. something a bit more intimate but can't really think of anything.. any key ideas?
