I'm working on the calculation method option 1 for LEED EQ credit 8.1. I've never worked on a LEED project before, but I am an AP.

Assume this building has a perimeter hallway with exterior windows. Interior offices have windows to the hallway.

Do I use the same glazing factor formula for the interior windows of the office as the exterior?

I've yet to find a definitive answer. I read on one website, that you can't use the glazing factor formula outlined in the Reference guide for interior windows and that you have to either computer simulate it or measure actual. Is the true? How do I calculate interior window glazing factor?

Thanks!
