There are 2 kinds of painted V groove laminated flooring: manual painted type and machine painted type.

Regarding the manual type, The V groove, the bevels on the 4 sides, is painted by worker with some tool like a pen. The painted area can’t be in a regular shape. And its edge can’t be in line. Little area of the flat surface neighboring to the V groove is covered by the paint. But the paint will not affect the look of floor as its color is very similar with its second layer, the decorative paper. Some area of the flat surface will be lacquered on the flat surface if the manufacturer is not strict in the production.

Regarding the machine type, the bevels are painted with machine. The painted area is in a regular shape. And its edges are in line. So machine painted V groove laminated flooring is a better type.
