I got a new MacBook Pro which meant I could also get PC8 finally. Initially, I created an account to initiate the machine, and test out the hardware and some software before finally committing to it. Then I migrated my account from my PowerBook. I find that, although I can get PowerCADD to run in the migrated account, Wild Tools won't load, and the file folder icon denies permission to open despite going in from both accounts and changing permissions to allow read/write. Any suggestions?
ColorMunki software is also giving me the same problems. Did something change in Leopard with applications and user accounts? It doesn't seem right to me that applications that install at the global applications folder should not be usable by all accounts on that machine. _________________ Rob

Well, I just found an answer to WildTools. Poking around the get info box, the + button allowed me to add the migrated account name to the list of accounts, and give it read/write privileges. Despite already giving "everyone" read/write privileges before, I had to specifically do so for this account. Go figure. Who then is "everyone" if not everyone? _________________ Rob

In my case, "everyone" is me, myself, and I.
I cannot make my Photoshop 7 run on my laptop in Leopard. Looks like I'm doing PS on the antique. _________________ John Cruet
